Hot Matcha Latte
Whisk 1½–2 tsp matcha with 2 oz hot water, then top with about 8–10 oz steamed or frothed milk.
A hot matcha latte is just a strong matcha concentrate plus warm frothed milk. Keep water off the boil to avoid bitterness.

Ratio: 1½–2 tsp matcha : 2 oz water : 8–10 oz milk

Step 1
Sift and whisk
Sift matcha into a mug or bowl. Add hot water and whisk until fully dissolved.
Step 2
Heat and froth milk
Warm milk (do not boil). Froth until lightly foamy, then pour over the matcha. Sweeten if desired.
Common mistakes
- Boiling the milk or the matcha water.
- Skipping the concentrate step and dumping powder into a full mug of milk.
